Ruth (Dandrow) Lovejoy

BA, BS, MS, was educated in Boston, MA, and has served as Executive Director of Elder Services of Okaloosa County since 1976. Under her leadership, Elder Services of Okaloosa County received the Florida Association of Service Provider's Agency of the Year Award in 1999. The Florida Council on Aging recently recognized Ms. Lovejoy's service to the elder community with the Silver Laurel Award. Other recognition Ms. Lovejoy has received include the Florida Council on Aging Outstanding Member award and the Carter Osterbind Award for Outstanding Service to the Elders of Florida. Ms. Lovejoy was the first contemporary inductee into the Okaloosa County Woman's Hall of Fame in recognition of her service to the broader community.

Faye Knochenmus

BSN, MSN, came to Elder Services of Okaloosa County with an extensive nursing background, having served various communities in both public and community health programs. Retired Lt. Colonel Knochemnus (USA Nurse Corps) has lived locally for nearly ten years. Her complete familiarity with local area support services and diversified nursing background make her a valuable contributor to the agency's programs.
