ALL AGES CAN HELP as Junior Volunteers

Volunteering is more than a contribution of your time and talent to others. It is an act of compassion and caring that also enriches your life. It is small investment time with rewards that far exceed the hours given.
The volunteer opportunities offered provide critical, if not life sustaining, support to frail and at-risk elderly. These services permit individuals to retain their independence and dignity while feeling safe and secure within the preferred setting of their own home.

Opportunities exist in:

Shopping assistance
Yard work and minor maintenance
Building ramps and other modifications for handicap accessibility
Letter writing or reading mail
Companionship - reading, playing games, visiting
Picking up prescriptions
Delivering locally funded Meals on Wheels

*Who can volunteer?

Individuals, church groups, civic and social organizations, military groups, fraternities and sororities, youths - anyone who is caring, compassionate, and generous.
