Niceville’s 3rd Planet Brewery hosted the 5th Annual Fire Truck Pull sponsored by local Rotaries to raise awareness and funds in support of Twin Cities Pavilion and Crestview Manor Assisted Living Facilities. Funds are used to support critical projects for the two facilities.
Twin Cities Pavilion and Crestview Manor are private, non-profit facilities providing alternative living situations for at-risk individuals who would otherwise be homeless. We focus on the low-to-modest income elderly and handicapped who cannot afford the fees charged by for-profits. Over 75% of our residents are Medicaid recipients.
Both are modest in appearance and cost and offer quality care to those who are no longer safe living in their homes. The monthly cost of $2600 includes all services except for private phones and cable television. There are no sign-on commitments or leases. Staff assist with personal care, homemaking, and self-administered medication. Each has an amazing Activities program to keep residents engaged and permit opportunities for socialization.
We have tentatively set next year’s event for April 17, 2027. 3rd Planet is a wonderful establishment that is very community minded. There will be all kinds of activities for families and children. We will be working on recruiting teams to pull which consist of 10 people. The entry fee is $250 per team. Please consider putting this on your calendar and supporting this worthy cause. If you don’t wish to pull, you can sponsor a team of your choice!
