The Emerald Coast Association of Realtors CAMA Group sponsored the Annual Barbeque Contest to raise needed funds for our Assisted Living Facilities, Twin Cities Pavilion and Crestview Manor.  The event was hosted by 3rd Planet Brewery in Niceville.  It was a fun-filled gathering of barbeque connoisseurs who participated to support the efforts of our non-profit organization.  Twin Cities Pavilion and Crestview Manor were presented with $10,000 for projects that are not otherwise funded by our rents.

Community Care for the Elderly

Elder Services of Okaloosa County is the designated Lead Agency for the Community Care for the Elderly (CCE) Program in Okaloosa County. The CCE program was created by the Florida Legislature to assist functionally impaired elderly persons to live dignified and reasonably independent lives in their own homes, or in the homes of relatives or caregivers.

Elder Services also contracts for the Federal Older Americans Act (OAA) which assists with in-home services to help clients remain in the preferred setting of their home. The CCE program compliments the Older Americans Act to ensure the most supportive array of services.
