Michael and Wynell Ellis Celebrate 60 Years of Marriage

Michael and Wynell Ellis, married June 16, 1966, celebrating 60 years together.

Congratulations to the happy couple, Michael and Wynell Ellis, on their 60^th wedding anniversary June 16, 2026. The two were married in Albany, Georgia on June 16, 1966, where Wynell was a native. The couple settled in Cleveland, Tennessee, where both worked as teachers. Wynell taught music and voice, and Michael taught social studies for a few years before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida, where they lived for 20 years. The couple were blessed with four beautiful daughters born during these years. Their daughters now reside in Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and Texas and visit as often as they can. The couple moved back to Cleveland, Tennessee, where Michael worked as an Administrator for Financial Services at Lee University for 26 years. The couple moved to Fort Walton Beach after retiring in 2017 and love being near the water and the warm winters. We are honored to know them both and are privileged to share and be a part of their lives at 60 years of marriage. We wish them many more happy years together!
