I’m Kimberly A. Fraley, the proud Executive Director of Elder Services of Okaloosa County. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

From early on, I knew I wanted to, in some way, be of service to my community. In 1980 I got my chance when I began my employment with Elder Services. The agency was established in 1971 by a small group of dedicated volunteers. Their first project was the Meals on Wheels Program.

Now, fifty years later, the agency has served nutritionally balanced meals that meet RDA recommendations for the elderly, handicapped or recuperating individuals in our community. We have also expanded to include social services and a non-skilled home health agency.

We are the designated Lead Agency for the state-funded Community Care for the Elderly Programs. Our programs are focused on assisting frail individuals to continue to reside in the preferred setting of their own homes. We also operate Twin Cities Pavilion and Crestview Manor, both private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) assisted living facilities located in Niceville and Crestview, Florida.

The part of the business that my incredible team and I most enjoy is giving back to those who have given so much and ask for so little. It is our mission to help maintain their dignity until end of life and encourage their independence for as long as possible.

As individuals, I believe what sets us apart from others is our genuine care for those who are vulnerable and our respect for all life.

I attribute our success to our compassionate staff and dedicated volunteers. Assisting individuals so they can remain in the comfort of their homes has given us immense satisfaction and success over the years. It continues to inspire us to do more for a part of our community that essentially goes without support.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. That said, I do enjoy fundraising activities that are necessary as this segment of our population continues to grow.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence my business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit our website at www.elder-services.org for more information.

Sincerely,

Kimberly
