About Elder Services of Okaloosa County
Established in 1971 by a small group of dedicated volunteers, we are a licensed home healthcare agency based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, offering elder home care assistance, respite care, personal care, assisted living facilities, and much more.
As a social service organization that has focused on the needs of the elderly and handicapped of Okaloosa County for over fifty years, we employ staff who understand the unique needs of our clients and demonstrate patience and compassion in assisting them to remain in the preferred setting of their homes.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and we are happy to assist clients or answer any questions they may have.

One of our most significant achievements has been adopting the Community Care For The Elderly program in 2019. The program offers support with personal care, homemaking, companionship services, and respite.
Our dream for the future is to acquire the federally funded Older Americans Act program to further supplement our current programs by bringing more services into the homes of our elderly population and those in need.
While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the environment. To do what we can towards a better future, we recycle what we can and support green initiatives.
We also believe in giving back to society. As part of that belief, we are a part of the United Way local effort and work closely with other local non-profit organizations to make a difference.
